The Citizens of Point Basse host school tours with the focus on historic and nature education. Fee Per Student: $7.00. Chaperones: $3.50. Teachers are complementary. If a student requires an individual aide, the aide is also complimentary. The possible morning activities will rotate between house, bunkhouse, cabin, barn, blacksmith and 3-bay shed, depending on personnel, with each round being approximately 20 minutes, lunch 20 minutes, afternoon activities are candles switched with school and/or games which are approximately 40 minutes each. Students should be divided into four groups prior to arrival that will rotate through the activities. Please provide at least one teacher or chaperone per group. The adult leaders will be provided a routing card directing them through the appropriate rotations.

There are teaching aides available for Teachers, The Wakely’s, Point Basse and Wisconsin As They Know It. Written at the fourth-grade-reading level, it includes discussion questions, activities, tests and answer keys. It gives the right to print classroom sets at no extra cost.
