Groups and Group Tours

Historic Point Basse will open for scheduled group tours. The tour, within limits, can be arranged to meet the requirements of any group. Options include items such as

• length of the tour
• size of the group
• games or recreation activities

What kind of groups might want to consider a trip to Historic Point Basse? Motor coach, spouse tours, student groups, etc. will all enjoy a visit to the site.

Student Groups

School groups are welcome. Historic Point Basse has a program that can be put on for the students. The program can be adjusted to meet the requirements of the group.

The Wakelys, Point Basse and Wisconsin As They Know It Teachers may want to look at The Wakelys, Point Basse and Wisconsin As They Know It. It is a Wisconsin history text as it applies to Point Basse. Written at the fourth-grade-reading level, it includes discussion questions, activities, tests and answer keys. It gives the right to print classroom sets at no extra cost.

Historic Point Basse will also provide citizens to make presentations off site. These presentations might involve one or more citizens.
